I am a freelance photographer now based in the Southwest of England, although I was born in Australia and spent my childhood in Singapore. I am constantly seeking new and innovative ways to approach my work and particularly enjoy creating digital images of plants, gardens and the natural world. My images are available on Alamy, Adobe Stock, Dreamstime, Envato Elements, EyeEm, PicFair, 123RF, Shutterstock, and Fine Art America. My stock images are reproduced worldwide in magazines, newspapers, books, and brochures and have also been used for design, promotions and advertising.
Available for commissions, I have worked with private gardens, retail outlets, tourist offices and garden designers and garden centres to produce slideshow videos, magazine articles, promotional material, and images for their brochures and websites. I have also worked on private commissions for slideshow videos, photo albums, greeting cards, CD covers and coffee table books. Although I particularly enjoy shooting gardens through the seasons I have also undertaken commissions for subjects as diverse as pet portraits, and musical instruments.
Now spending time between Dorset (UK) and Spain, I have in recent years specialised in landscape and garden photography, collaborating with guitarist Samantha Muir to produce slideshow videos. I have enjoyed working with landscape gardener Jan van Eijle, photographing new gardens as the plantings become established.

During a few “lockdown” walks at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I was exploring the lanes and by-ways of rural Dorset at the crack of dawn. The weather was (mostly) awesome, and the birdsong was amazing. This slideshow video was created with a few of the images I took on these walks combined with recordings by Samantha Muir of the sounds along the way.
